Some markets deliver a brand name as the sender only after it has been registered with the operators: India, the Gulf, Turkey, Indonesia and a good part of Asia and Africa. The rule is shown on each [country page](https://smsmeteor.com/coverage), and until now the registration itself was on you.


From this week, open a request from the sender settings in the panel. Support assembles the file, the name, who you are, a sample message and the reason for sending, checks it against what each operator expects, submits it where the destination accepts foreign senders, and tells you when it is approved. Your traffic keeps flowing from a shared numeric sender meanwhile, so nothing waits on the paperwork.



## Limits

A few markets register only locally established companies. We will tell you upfront when that is the case; the shared sender remains the durable option there. Approval times are set by the operators and range from days to weeks.

Registration assistance is part of the account, like sender IDs themselves. We would rather your name arrive than sell you the form.
