02Route notes
The route reaches subscribers of Telcel, AT&T Mexico and Movistar. None of them deliver alphanumeric senders: the platform assigns a local numeric sender automatically, and recipients can reply if you rent a dedicated number. Each operator is monitored separately; when one degrades it shows on the status page under Routes: Latin America.
Latin text is sent in GSM-7, 160 characters (153 per part when concatenated) per segment. Add an emoji or a non-Latin character and the whole message switches to Unicode at 70 characters (67 per part when concatenated). The composer shows the count before you send.
Marketing campaigns are held outside 08:00 to 21:00 local time by default. Transactional messages such as codes and receipts bypass the window. Numbers are dialled with +52, for example +52 977 296 318.
Operators in Mexico return handset delivery receipts, so delivered means the phone received the message, usually within seconds.
