Acceptable use policy

What may not be sent through the platform, and what happens when it is.

  • Effective 21 September 2026
  • Version 1.2
  • 6 clauses

1The principle

In shortWe decide what may be sent, not who may send. This page is that decision.

We do not verify who you are. In exchange we are strict about what is sent. This policy is part of the terms of service and applies to every message, sender identifier and list processed through the platform.

2Prohibited content

In shortPhishing, impersonation, fraud, illegal content in the destination, harassment.

  • Phishing or any message designed to obtain credentials, codes, payment details or personal data by deception.
  • Impersonation of banks, payment providers, carriers, delivery companies, public authorities or any brand you do not own or represent, including through sender identifiers.
  • Fraud, scams, advance-fee schemes, fake prizes, investment solicitations that are illegal in the destination.
  • Content illegal in the destination country, including where it concerns gambling, pharmaceuticals, weapons or adult services without the required licences.
  • Threats, harassment, or messages targeting an individual against their will.

3Prohibited practices

In shortHarvested lists, marketing sent as transactional, evading STOP, circumventing filters.

  • Sending marketing to numbers whose holders have not consented, including purchased or scraped lists.
  • Flagging promotional content as transactional to bypass quiet hours.
  • Ignoring or disabling opt-out mechanisms.
  • Rotating senders or content to evade carrier filters or our own.
  • Using the service to test or probe number ranges.

4Sender identifiers

In shortOnly names you are entitled to use. Generic words are fine; other people's brands are not.

Alphanumeric senders must be names you own or are authorised to use. Generic descriptive words are allowed. Names that imitate financial institutions, carriers, government services or well-known brands you do not represent are blocked at import and are a violation.

5What we do

In shortAutomatic filters, human review, route closure, account termination, reports to carriers where required.

Content filters reject obvious violations before sending, at no charge. Traffic patterns are reviewed by people. Violations lead, depending on severity and repetition, to a warning, suspension of the affected routes, or termination of the account. Where the law or carrier agreements require it, we cooperate with abuse reports. Balance used to pay for prohibited traffic may be withheld to the extent the law allows.

6Reporting abuse

In shortForward the message and the sender to us. Reports are read first.

If you received a message through us that violates this policy, use the abuse topic on the support page or write to [email protected] with the text, the sender as displayed, the date and your number. Abuse reports are read before anything else and acted on the same day.
