The route reaches subscribers of AIS and True. They deliver alphanumeric senders only after registration; until then your messages leave from a shared numeric sender, and support prepares the registration file with you. Each operator is monitored separately; when one degrades it shows on the status page under Routes: Asia-Pacific.
Messages written in the local script are Unicode, so a single segment holds 70 characters (67 per part when concatenated). Latin-only text stays in GSM-7 at 160 characters (153 per part when concatenated). The composer shows which encoding applies as you type.
Marketing campaigns are held outside 09:00 to 21:00 local time by default. Transactional messages such as codes and receipts bypass the window. Numbers are dialled with +66, for example +66 393 208 122.
Operators in Thailand return handset delivery receipts, so delivered means the phone received the message, usually within seconds.
