How deposits are credited, coin by coin

Confirmation counts, typical waits and what pending means for each of the seven coins, including why Monero takes a little longer than Tron.

The most common payment question is some version of "I sent it, where is it". The answer depends on the coin, because each network has its own idea of final.

What we wait for

A deposit appears as pending as soon as the transaction is seen on the network, and is credited when it has enough confirmations for us to treat it as irreversible. That is one confirmation on Bitcoin and Litecoin, ten on Monero, a few dozen blocks on Ethereum and Tron, and finality on Solana. In wall-clock time: seconds to a minute on Solana and Tron, a few minutes on Ethereum, ten to sixty minutes on Bitcoin depending on the fee you paid, about twenty minutes on Monero.

Why Monero takes longer

Monero outputs are locked for ten blocks by the protocol itself; nobody can spend them sooner, including us. The wait buys you what you chose Monero for. If you need credit in a minute, USDT on Tron or Solana is the practical choice.

The rate

The USD value is fixed at the moment of credit, at the market rate we display. There is no deposit fee on our side; the payment network sets a small per-deposit minimum, shown on the deposit screen. A balance too small to cover its own network fee on the way out, dust, cannot be refunded.

When something is late

Check the status page first; a node falling behind is posted there. Then write to us with the transaction id and the coin. Funds sent on a network we do not support for that coin are the one case we cannot always fix, so check the network on the deposit screen before sending.
